TC Gel
TC Gel is a blend of Gelrite and agar, formulated to provide some of the advantages of both gelling agents in one product. TC Gel produces a moderately firm gel that is clearer than gels produced by agar alone, but less clear than those produced by gellan gums. TC Gel can be used at much lower concentrations than agar alone. The recommended concentration for TC Gel is 4-6 grams per liter of medium.
