Murashige and Skoog

Originally developed for the rapid growth of tobacco, this media has become the widely accepted standard for plant tissue culture. When originally tested, it was found to be superior to the other widely used media of the time, and it continues to be an excellent base for other media. Available in a wide variety of modifications.
