McCoy's 5A Media (Modified)

In 1959, McCoy and his co-workers published the amino acid requirements for the culture of Novikoff Hepatoma Cells. These studies were originally performed using Basal Medium 5A, but the medium was subsequently modified resulting in the new medium known as McCoy's 5A Medium. Iwakata and Grace further modified the medium for use in their work and human myeloblasts.
